Local gun shop has an older Colt Positive Police revolver in 32-20 with a full box of older Remington ammo. The gun is in pretty decent shape with the original wood grips. The blueing is pretty strong with some holster wear and hardly any turn marks on the cylinder. He's asking $350 for it. Not really my thing but if it's a good deal, well then it is my deal..............[;)]
Any thoughts?

IMO he is about $75-$80 too high. Colt made thousands of them. If you look on the auction side they are going for $270 on up depending on condition. IMO for $350 it better have a lot of blueing left. Also keep in mind .32-20 isn't as cheap to buy as .38 Special--in fact it's usually double the price so unless you reload I would probably pass. If you like the look of the gun find you an older Colt Police Positive Special in .38 Special. Friend of mine was given a Police Positive and was all happy til he found it was chambered in .38 S&W and not .38 Special--sticker shock at the ammo store lol.

If cylinder timing and crane lock up are all good, I'd say it's a deal that would be hard to beat. [^][:D]
It's being willing. I found out early that most men, regardless of cause or need, aren't willing. They blink an eye or draw a breath before they pull the trigger. I won't. ~ J.B. Books

A colt expert will probably come along and correct me, but I think the 32-20 was a Colt Positive Police Special. There are a few auction side now for $250 to $500 range, I'd check them against the condition of the one you saw.
