Traffic was noticeably less this morning on the drive to work. This is a good thing.

    Took a drive through the predominantly illegal immigrant part of town. No one at the day labor pick up spots. Saw a few in their front yards. Looked like they were getting the pits ready to do some BBQing.

    Traffic is still noticeably less in town. Still a good thing.

    There are absolutely no illegals in this immediate area, but have been watching CNN coverage all day. I have seen no sign of the groups that were organizing for the American/taxpayer side of things...yet.

    Don't hold your breath ... I think they turned their TV's off.

    It'll be OK, whole thing will blow over in a day or two. Won't
    cost us anything, anyway. Tha Government'll pay for it - all they
    have to do is just print a few more hundred tons of greenbacks![:D]

    give people like that green cards and put them on track to becoming citizens, deport the rest.

    I just got back from the OC. 22, 55 and 91 were wide open both ways. I made it to Choc Hospital from Norco in 20 minutes. All of the aliens must be in LA. I'm going to have a light dinner and then go back down to the counter protest rally in Orange.

    I have to drive through what i call Old Mexico on my way to work in Houston, due to some freeway ramp closures. traffic was absolutely fantastic today. I now know who makes this route a problem. Perhaps they will take a few more days off and we will determine that they aren't as necsessary as alot of them think and we won't have a problem sending them back.
