I want to own a gun and am 19 and don't have any bad records. The problem is that I don't know any gun store near here. Any gun expert that lives in the NYC around? perhaps you can tell me a gun store or two?

YipYip,New York is a tough place to own a gun from what I understand. At 19 you can only purchase long guns (Nope note even those cool pistol gripped shotguns). Hopefully you'll move down here to Texas before you turn 21. I just turned 21 last year and (For the most part) it's been fairly easy to own what ever I want. For your first gun I heartily recommend a Remming 870. Not too expensive, not cheaply made, and good for most any circumstance. Hope that helps some,Monkey

If I'm still a pup then why do I feel like I'm 50?

Hey Monkey, if you feel 50 at 21, man are you in for an unplesant shock in 29 years! 55 is better by far than dead, but I have aches in places where I didn't used to have places!

I was a little surprised at Monkey's age too. I'd take it as a compliment, though.

I agree that Monkey is far beyond the maturity level of most 22 year old males.Hey Monkey, maybe your body is trying to keep up with your mind.
We only have a few special years with our children in which they desire our time, attention, and love. After that time is over, it is gone forever, and we will be the ones that desire their time, attention, and love. Make those few, short years count - don't miss it!!!
