Have been buying one EE bond and one I bond every month since we found out. Will also participate in the prepaid college tuition program offered by this state (wish they'd let a lottery pass like GA - Every child that maintains a B average goes to any State U. tuition free).

Congratualations, life has been unpredicatable for the last 19 1/2 months. Better learn how to keep the snake covered when changing the diaper, or you'll be the one changing shirts. BTW, the lottery in GA is great, but a lot of kids lose it once they get to school, so the back up plan is a good investment. There is a plan right now that you can transfer names on w/o penalty. In case your first gets a full ride, and you need the money for another kid, or even to use as retirement. Our teacher retirement system planner put us on it, so ask around.

Thanks All!Due date is July 24.The prepaid tuition plan is transferable from child to child and if none of them use it, you get your dime back at full face value plus a smidge of interest. This is the first time I've been able to get on the board since I posted on this thread last - "Down for general repairs" or something like that.Anyway, thanks again.
