Just called the Wife, told 'er 'bout my milestone 1000th post on GB, and that I'd like to celebrate by gettin' a new gun...a 2" .357...she said yes! (as long as she gets to play with it)

The hunt is on...I'm thinkin' Taurus...!!!!

I don't like the porting though. Does anyone make speedloaders for a seven shot?

I think its a little out of my price range. I'd like to keep it around $350 - $400 including shipping and transfer fees.

P.S. She's six and a half months pregnant...I'm pretty sure she'd rather play with the big one (the Taurus)

What is the capacity, type of grips, and type of finish?

Holler at Jo Jo at the pawn shop. he'll hook you right up with a good deal and I know he has what you want in stock. Prices aren't better anywhere.

    simonbs,
HKS makes a 7 shot speedloader for the S$W 686 and 386. I don't know if they make one for the Taurus models as well. Congrats and enjoy whatever you decide on. (I agree with Dano, you won't go wrong with the smith 66)

What is the benefit of a short barrel in such a large caliber? I've never had one so short. I like my 4.5" or so Smith highway patrolman...Accurate....

keep lots of extra uppers for your ar..you can change often enough to keep the thing from over heating...what ever caliber fits the moment..~Secret Select Society of Suave Stylish Smoking Jackets~

It'll be carried on my ankle. The recoil is no problem (for me anyway, the wife will hafta stick to light .38s for plinking).
