    got an antenna? I am on the west coast as you know, DX now may be a little if'y, with my t-storms rolling in ok? propagation has been off and on here. what are you looking for? news, sports, ham stuff? [:)]

    I just got a radio(kinda cheep to see if I like it) I think I do like it. I will buy a better radio in the future. I listen to everything. Also a rec on a good radio? :et me know all about it!! Thanks

    Radio Shack had some years ago. Don't know if they still do. It seems the only thing they carry any more is cellphones.
    It had five different bands. The only thing on most of the time was the BBC from 40 different places.
    It has a lot of limitations at different times of the day, because of the suns effect on the ionosphere.

    Thr radio shack DX-394 is not a bad little radio for the price. it has a VFO Fine/corse Am SSB upper and lower cw 1&2 Freq. range from
    120m to 10meter

    The Kenwoods, Grundigs, are top dogs and some others.

    I like buying and restoring the old 30's and 40's tube am-shortwave sets with the beautiful wood cabinets. Most just need the caps replaced and they pull in beautiful shortwave and are a lot of fun to work on.
