Steyr CAL. 270 pro hunter

Hello, Does anyone have a steyr in the 270.I am working up a load for my gun and useingNosler bullets. I am tring the 130 in thepartition & the Ballistic tip. Thanks forany help. Vince

    I got one.I use a minimum load with the same bullet to get a sub-moa group.42.grs of IMR 4895MAGNUM large rifle primer. Damn fine rifle , ain't it?

    I have the Forester. I don't hand load but mine prefers Federals with partitions. Seems like most of my rifles like Federals, except the .257's like Hornady lite mags. This is probably no help unless you can figure out the Federals.

    I have a styer-manlicher model L or M (I believe) in 270. Full stock;a real beauty. But I must admit, it kicks the hell out of my cheek. Curious if the carbine size too small for me, holding it wrong, wrong fit all around or just my fat cheek? Any suggestions appreciated. TDH
