Well, I tried to cheat and see if I could find the name of the weapon on the Amazon.com book reviews, I didn't. But, I did find a review that strikes me as exactly what would be said by a typical brainwashed person, an excerpt from that review follows:"The novel also has a near pornographic obsession with guns and descriptions of guns. It is as if the characters only come alive when they are fondling their weaponry. Such activities may be of interest to a Freudian analyst, but it hardly makes for a page turner that cannot be put down."I should note, however, that the majority of the reviews at least gave the book credit for being eye-opening.

It's a fantastic book. I'd put it second only to Unintended Consequences, but that's just my onion. I for one loved the fact that they went into a lot of detail. It's meant to be a reference book/novel. They give a lot of detail about various things such as what blood types are compatible, how to make claymore mines out of cooking sheets (hehehehehe), and a lot of other neat stuff. Besides all that, the storyline is nifty too!

MR EVIL ATF Here is the answer to your question. The templers standard group rifle was the m1a the standard group rifle for the northwest militia was the HK 91. Here is a question for you What did the guy at the barter fair said he would trade for, a spare mag for his 44 auto mag? Great book have read it a zillion times. Do you know the title of the book befor its current name? It's had a couple.

Beltfed:WOW! You sir, have me at a disadvantage! I've only read the book once and it was loaned to me, so I cannot look up the answer to your question. If I had to answer off the top of my head, I'd have to say that I don't know. What other titles was the book under? I had no idea the title had changed so many times! What's the answer? Also, you answered correctly about the group standard rifle for the Templar Militia AND the Northwest Militia (which once going to be my next question, damnit!). However, the Northwest Militia had TWO MBR's/Group Standards. For a bonus cookie, what was the second group standard of the NW Militia?Question number two: What were the group standard side arms for each militia?

Sorry, ysacres. You must have really cooked yer brain on that combine this year during harvest! (Just kidding! I love my fellow Washingtonians!) I wouldn't make it THAT easy!I'll give you a hint: It's a rifle that I personally do not like and have been vocal about said dislike numerous times here on GB.

www.amazon.com has it in stock. I've got a copy coming, but it is being held up because my copy of Boston's Gun Bible is backordered on the same ticket and I'm too cheap to pay for shipping twice.

Well jeez, man. I've posted a little bit of what they tried pulling on me, but you guys haven't heard the half of it! I'll post the whole sordid affair someday soon when I get a hankering and posting is slow. For now, I'll just be content that I can make a living doing something I love. How often does that chance come per lifetime?

MR EVIL ATF Here sir are the answers you seek. Second standard rifle for the northwest was the colt AR 15 and sidearm was 45 auto (had to be a colt! ) I believe the templers carried the beretta 92. The books frist title was THE GRAY NINETIES I believe then was changed to TEOTWAWKI ( the end of the world as we know it) and also published under the title TRIPLE OUGHT. I have the Indian name version. Does the new version have the questions in the back or chapter where he gives advice on how to prepare for crash? GREAT BOOK You may want to try and find a non main stream version but Ido not know if it will differ much from the one that was put out by a major publisher. Anyway enjoy.THE EVILS OF TYRANNY ARE RALEY SEEN BUT BY HIM WHO RESISTS IT. JOHN HAY, CASTILIAN DAYS II, 1872
