M3 and M1

Does anybody know the differances between the Benelli M1 with pistol grips and M3 with pistol grips. Is the M4 available to the public?

    Hello gene b.
    The M1 is a semi auto the M3 is semi-auto or pump.I do not think the M4 will ever be available to the public, because it came out after the assualt weapons ban, The stock and the magazine capacity will kill it.
