Post card in mail today 2/6, stated that Redfield is no more....after starting co. in 1909. For warranty work you can now send your Redfield optics to an independent repaircenter, ABO (USA) INC. JAPANESE TECHNOLOGY.....for only $26.00 to cover shipping. And another one bites the dust..and another ones gone....ah-so!
"ANY" EXCUSE IS A GOOD REASON TO BUY "JUST 1 MORE".& VICIE-VERSIE!

Too bad, they were once a good company. About 6 months ago I purchased a Redfield 3x9 scope (widefield low profile) NIB made in Denver, Colorado. I paid bucks for it, but now I think I'll just keep it in its box, much like a collectible. Sad, but the current crop of Redfields had been farmed out to the Phillippines of all places, and they looked like it too.
