With all the illegals, mideastern enemies, Social Security & welfare cheats threatening and bleeding our system, is it time for a national I.D. card ?

NO! We might well as tattoo our SS# on our hands. The next thing will be world wide (new order) I.D. card. Then????????? Everyone knows too much about me as it is now and my personal I.D. is a thing of the past! I am a number not a person! What happens if you lose your card? What's to keep the aliens and enemies from counterfiting national ID cards. They counterfit everything else.Dano's right: we already have ID cards with drivers licenses. The democrats sure don't like this, but I would much rather see elections like they used to be--where you had to go to the polls, in person, on election day, between 7am and 7pm, with some sort of picture ID to vote. The illegals are stealing our elections, and too many people are voting multiple times.

I can see it now...As soon as they make a mandatory Id Card, they'll ask for it everytime you buy a gun(registration).

I'm not sure I'd have any problem with a anational id card as long as citizenship was a requirement to obtain it. And as long as benefits for any services in this country were tied to the card....might go a long way in stamping out some of the abuses by non'citizens. Beach

A national ID card? Just what the Gestapo ordered. I don't see any constitutional provision that would authorize the govt. to require such a card.

I have seen them with my own eyes. Aliens from Mexico and Central America with genuine voters registration cards. And not just a few. Many! There are people who harbor spanish speaking aliens--hide them from the imigration authorities all year. Then on election day, those same aliens go to the polls and vote..."democrato." They are told one word as they head for the voters booth, "democrato." You ask, "how do they get the cards?" Well, the election officials and poll watchers are named Garcia, Benevitas, Hernandaz, etc. Don't that give you warm fuzzies?My state, Texas, has been a swing state in many elections. And many elections have gone democrat based on the non-citizen vote. Same with California. We must do something about this! If it takes some sort of ID or whatever, then maybe that will be the lessor of the two evils. But if we don't do something, the aliens will take over the place, lock, stock and barrel, and we will have only ourselves to blame.Like I said above, the Democrats won't like anyone messing with thier brothers of diversity. They are too big a source of votes.
