...and you think you had a bad day.

A neighbor was telling me about the problems he had yesterday. One of his mamma cows had just given birth to a calf on the back side of his property--over a mile from the road and his house. It was rainy and muddy. The calf was wet and cold and not wanting to get up and nurse. So he decides to put it in the front, passenger side, floorboard of his new 1-ton Dodge truck, under the fan of the warm heater. He figured he would dry and warm it a little and maybe that would get it going. Well, after he closed the door, and before he could get around to the driver side door, the calf got up and somehow touched the electric door lock button. "Click." There he was, in the back side of nowhere, engine running, locked out, with a calf in the new truck crapping in the front seat, and him standing there in the rain looking in. Can you just picture that?He finally broke a window (which will cost more to repair than the calf is worth) and went on about his business. Now, that's what I call having a bad day.
