Do you stay in touch with Gail? (Gayle? Sorry I am not sure of the correct spelling.)

Was just wondering how things were going for her these days. None of my business, I know, but I think that all of us here got to feeling like she and your son were kind of like "family" last year.

I'll chat with ya untill the pelican sails in.

How did your spring work go, ya still got all the fingers and toes I hope. Your weather did not look very good for growing crops for awhile (Snow). I planted 200 acres of Garbonzo beans and Deer just love them, I had three bucks in velvet standing in the field yesterday.
Do you understand the new farm bill, Our local F.S.C. is haveng a meeting next week to inform us.
Also how is your mother doing after her fight with the hip, I hope she is well.

    Later

Well, hey there, Ysacres, nice ta see ya.

Finally got the crop all in by June 6, still got all digits firmly attached, not for lack of trying!

Nice ta hear that you are feeding the deer population! Going to also help thin them out in the Fall, I hope?

Mom's doing as well as could be expected, thanks fer asking. Just got her back to her house from the hospital yesterday. We had spent some time getting the house more wheelchair friendly, turns out that she progressed more quickly than they thought she would (she IS only 90 freaking years old, fer crying out loud!), and she was able to go directly to using a walker. Different members of the family are all pitching in at different times during the day to help out, getting her food prepared, walking the dogs, helping her with her exercises and medications, etc. Of course, I'll be taking first and last watch, living only a mile or so away.

Does ANYBODY actually understand that bill? If you get it figured out, tell me please! I can tell you one thing for sure, though, any time you have tax dollars going to the Ted Turners and Rockefellers of the world, something is really haywire.
