There is a gunshow at the Howard Co. Fairground on the Setp 15 and 16. It is off of Hwy 32, near Exit 80. I think it open at 9:00 A.M. If any one is interested, this one is petty good.Spec.4

How many tables are being set up? I generally don't attend shows with less than 200. How far from Silver sring is that?

It will have more then 200 but less then 400. This one is usually pretty good. Least time I was there, which was least year it was in the main building which is the biggest.Spec.4

Head up 270 towards Frederick and it'll be on your left. The exit is marked for the fairgrounds. If you want to go to a big show, there's one at the Timonium fairgrounds on Oct. 6-7. Another in Harrisburg, PA on Dec. 8-9. Timonium usually has 700-800 tables. Harrisburg has over 1000.Mudge

I've been to the Timonium gunshow the last two years. My wife doesn't like to go with me to that one. "Too much walking." Is this one a modern gunshow, or just antiques?

Both are modern. Can't she wait in the car?My wife loves 'em. She's a very quick study and likes to point out the guns that I've shown her and told her about on the History Channel and at previous gun shows. I really get a kick out of her pointing out "MA DEUCE"or a Luger or something else she learned about when I thought she wasn't paying attention.p.s. She picked up her CCW permit yesterday.Damn...she rides a HOG, carries a Glock 30, and has a pick-up with a manual transmission. Is she a "keeper" or what?MudgeI'll be at Howard County show. Look for the big guy (6'6" 260lbs.)in the shirt that looks like a U.S. flag.

It has both, mostly old military and todays arms. It's the best I think out of all the gunshow that I been going to. It somewhat small but have alot there. It is the Silverado gunshow.

Well, they postponed the aerosmith concert and my weekend is now free, so unless I have to be at work, I'll probably go to the show. Thanks for pointing this one out. Look for the guy wearing a black HK polo and khakis, about 6' and "skinny".

The Howard County show is ok to kill some time, I usually go but I will skip it this year. The Dealers are arrogant, the prices are way too high and Maryland Firearm Laws are amonmg the worst in the nation.

I agree with that, but I haven't been to a gunshow in, well, since the last timonium show. Besides, there might be a good deal just waiting for me to find.
