if these guys are so proud and beleave so strongly in what they have done is such a great accomplishment why dont they say, yea i did it. i know that there afraid of retallation but they seem so willing to die for there cause, this just dont make cents to me any opions????

    That is why they are calling this a cowardly attack. If they had balls they would stand up and say "WE DID IT". Instead, these (soon-to-be-dead) losers brainwash some extremist followers and let them commit suicide and murder.To repeat the message of several other posts:We know who could have done it, we know who would like to do it, who cares who actually did it - LETS KILL THEM ALL AND BE DONE WITH IT!

    Boom Boom, Not to pick on you as the phrase "claim responsibility" is in common media usage, but that phrase has always bugged me. To "claim" anything implies pride of accomplishment. These guys must admit guilt, they can't 'claim' anything, except maybe redeem their claim ticket for a spot in hell.

    Why should they do that?? Mess up all their future plans - Wouldn't do any good if they did "admit" responsiblity - our government won't what is necessary to stop the responsible leaders anyhow.[This message has been edited by TEQUILA (edited 09-13-2001).]

    I've noticed that the cowardly terrorists will gladly "claim" little hits like car bombs and an occasional hijacking or bombing. This one is different. Car bombs and hijackings usually don't get any more of a response that a cruise missile or two. The cowards who were in charge of this one know that the full might of the U.S. and possibly other militaries will be mobilized against them. They are probably still trying to dig their hole as deep as they possibly can to hide for as long as they can.
