    USA mags=pretty good
PRO MAG=Quality seems to vary by the intricacy and design of the mag.

I don't mean to conterdict a fellow member of this board, however, my experience, and others, are that USA magazines suck.

They are banned for use within my old department even for off duty use. Take it for what it's worth.

The USA Mags that I have owned over the years are at best Turds. A couple out of around 20 were fully fuctional. These include, Mini-14,
AR-15, Glock 9mm and S&W 9mm. Two Mini-14 Mags turned out to be fuctional and reliable. The rest all ended up in the trash.

I have had mixed results with Pro-Mags, but they have been far better than the USA's...

I now only buy factory Mags or USGI Mags.

I had some USA SKS mags that functioned great. I guess it just depends on the lot.

The key is finding one that will work properly. I guess one could buy about 400 USA mags, try them all out, keep the ones that work, and then send the rest back. You should be able to one.

    I agree, they suck.

I have brought this up before...EVERY USA brand mag I ever owned, did
not function properly.I currently have a 30rd. SKS mag collecting dust,
and bought 4, thirty round,Tec 9 mags. Those I got rid of with the gun.
None of these magazines functioned properly.

The only USA mags I have are the metal 20 round SKS mags, short of that, I have never seen or heard of any other's that functioned properly. I have used several Pro-Mags and was reasonably satisfied with them for RANGE USE ONLY.
