Chinese SKS

My local dealer has a real nice condition chinese sks on his rack for $179 but it does not have the original 10 round fixed magazine. It has one of those aftermarket 30 rounds mags. I am thinking of buying it but I am wondering what it would cost to pick up a chinese 10 round fixed mag to put it back to original condition? Any one know?

    Between $5 and $20....they're not very hard to find, you should be able to pick one up at a gun show for *cheep*

    Just remember, the fixed 10-rd mag is serial numbered to the rifle, so you can't really ever restore it to "Original" condition, just original configuration.....

    I got a like-new fixed Zytel 20rd'er that I'll trade you for the detachable if you want. It's been collecting dust in my closet since I use detachable mags.[:D]

    King, if i buy this rifle I will make you a deal on the mag that is on there now. I was looking for an original mag and the cheapest I could find one was $29.95! There has to be cheaper 10 rd SKS mags out there someplace!

    I have done business with this guy before & highly recommend him. Some of our Florida members have been to his shop too.

    Thanks Drobs, I juts called him and ordered the magazine, $20 like you said, plus got a few stripper clips.
    Now I have to go and put a hold on the SKS at the shop. With my luck, its sold already!
