We live in the country about 10 miles from the nearest town in central Washington state. We are probably like many rural areas that the city people are moving to. I am a gun dealer and we have access to different areas to shoot at, but we have a new neighbor, two miles away, that does not like anyone shooting. He is retired military, (which I am also). It seems like there is a web sight that a person can verify a persons military background, does anyone know the websight? Thanks for your time. Dave@cwf

We are about 20 miles outside of Ellensburg on I-90. I didn't know that they had wild boar on the penisula. A friend of ours comes down from Alaska and fishes for steelhead a round there somewhere. The only pigs we have around here are the bacon and porkchop kind. Dave@cwf

Redleg.. we are about 60 miles west of Warden. We don't have the birds that we used to have and there are quite a few deer but it is 3 point or better anymore unless you get drawn. We raised pheasants and let them go this year, the boys really got a kick out of it. (next year I will remember to tie the lab up before we let the birds loose.) Dave@cwf

www.nic.gov look in the links to the armed forces (If on line yet) as nearly all govnic info services had shut down after 911.

It's great, really!, I've got a spot where I bust a bird almost every time I go out.

Matt. How's tomorrow sound? Aw, shoot. I forgot....I live in Misery..er-Missouri.I went to school at WSU and hunted all the way from Spokane to Lewiston (for chuckars). Who are you rooting for in today's game? One of these day, man...back in the Snake River Canyon hiking those freaking hills trying to kill an invisible bird. Or back walking the railroad tracks near Albion trying to kill another invisible bird. Now I'm homesick....

Talk about "invisible birds" I think that is what my neighbor has been talking to. We are finding more info about our anti-gunner all the time. By the way....the Cougars by 24. Dave@cwf

I know what you mean about "Invisible Birds", after grouse hunting all day Saturday up in Stevens County, I'm begining to think that there may be a whole new generation genetically altered stealth animals out there, 'cause I didn't see much of anything all day.
