I used to drive a 72 Pinto. Would love to find another one and drop a 302 in it.

Edsel named after Henry Fords second son. Mr.Ford had only one son. Erkels car was a BMW Isetta. Some of those cars were top sellers.

I beg to differ,,the worst was the German Ford "tanus"/Taunus".Iwas fresh out of the service in '63 and needed an economical car for my first job. What a POS.Would love to revisit the "sins" of my youth to either rectify or improve upon.

    That list ain't right.
They left off my old '71 VW bus. I had three of 'em and blew 3 engines.
I was an auto masochist in those days.

I loved my Vega GT. I didn't have any problems with it and it was very quick. I always wanted a Cosworth.

I didn't look far enough but I suspect the Corvair is somewhere on that list. The Spyder I use to drive was a screamer. Could leave some Corvettes sitting in the dust. The only real problem was a weak generator bracket that tended to break from the tension on that 4 carb flat engine.

Those two are the only Chevys I would like to have again.

My projected life span isn't long enough for me to proceed further.

I refuse to look at slideshow websites full of streaming ads that slow things down and more of than not have a script error that freezes the webpage. I like it when they have a "View as list" option, otherwise I don't bother.

Not having looked at the list, I'll say that things like the Reliant Robin, Yugo, etc. are FAR from the worst... most of those titles go to either Eastern bloc stuff that wasn't exported, or early Chinese/Indian garbage (though many Chinese made cars are now pretty good).

I'm sure my 89 Festiva is on there - it makes all those worst car lists.

however, as long as you keep them up and out of the rust belt you'll get 300k and more out of them and they are easy to work on IF you can find parts. not too dificult unless you need a factory ac compressor.

I know some who have 500k on theirs. I have 160 on mine and doesn't smoke, leak, or tick.

believe it or not, they are still made in Iran or Iroq and they are hot items in the Phillipeans.(sp?)
