Are these things any good? Is it a smart idea into turning your handgun into a rifle even temporarily. I got a glock model 21c and was wondering in getting one of these when they came out for the glocks.

I had one for my 1911. No problems. gave around $300 for it at a gun show and had him throw in a BSA red-dot. I sold it to a buddy because my 1911 was a springfield mfd in 1915. more of a collectible than a shooter. I sold the pistol to a collector and sold the CCU to a friend, he is shooting real good groups from it on his colt commander. I do not know how far away. I think I put 2 seven round clips through it. I hit the target fairly consistently. although I did not have the red-dot sighted in. I would consider another one if I purchased a pistol that was compatible with it. I like the idea of going camping or something and having the compactability of a pistol and yet the ability of turning it into a rifle if I had to hunt an animal for food. Plus it looks really cool going to the range.
I spent all my money on guns, women, and beer. The rest I just wasted.wiredog70@hotmail.com
