Local was selling them for $8 per pound.

$8 a pound is pretty cheap.

I have seen them for up to $20 a pound, and those are frozen so they will weigh more.

$75 a lb at the co-op 2 or 3 years ago.

Bumper crop here this year. Just winding down now.

I'm allergic to them, so I don't eat them.

Gave some to my wife, daughters.

Gave a bunch to Farmers that let me hunt waterfowl and deer.

Gave some to friends.

Wish I could eat em, but get violently sick when I do.
