Ruger Super Redhawk Price?

I can't seem to find any decent prices on this gun in .44 Magnum.

What is the "going rate"?

I've seen a few of them on gunbroker for $450 or so. Is that good?

The new ones are $500 or so, but I have no idea if that is good either.

None of the stores in my area have them.

This is in Stainless, 7.5" barrel.

Thanks.

Merc

My dealer gives me good rates. I'll ask and get back to you.

In my look-up on his database, he lists that new at $489, so I reckon anything less than $469 is a good price, and prolly right around or better than going rate. Best of luck!

$549.00 was the best price I found in stores here in southern CA, 7 1/2 or 9 1/2 bbl makes no difference to price.

$456is dealer cost from "jerry's". I would say $425 would be a good used price for 90%+ condition.

A great rifle with a junk scope,....is junk.

if the gun is in excellent condition then that would be a GOOD price.I would suggest looking around a little more to try to find a Great deal.

There is a 44mag blackhawk in my buy sell trade rag for $250. It has a 7-1/2" bbl.

When Clinton left office they gave him a 21 gun salute. Its a damn shame they all missed....

The Super Redhawk has a stiffer frame and scope mounts+rings.

Thanks for the help folks. I went ahead and bought the one on GB for $425. Looks like a good deal!

Went to a gunshow today, found a couple of USED ones for $550-570!!! USED!!!!!!!!

I also stopped in a tiny little shop I rarely get to, he quoted me $529, which was the best "new" price, but he had to order it.

    Thanks again.

Merc (Who spent $600 on ammo today! WOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!)

PLEASE NOTE:...SPEAKING IN GENERAL TERMS NOT specifically AIMED AT MERCURY...

This topic points out what I have suspected for a long time and is a predominant belief I harbor in my own small mind(no comments here) that many potential gun buyers do not have the foggiest idea about gun costs and what consitutes a square deal!~

Why and how is it that a person who wants to spend hard earned money and lots of it on a firearm('s) F-A-I-L-S to put in some time and effort into researching his subject!

I suspect 89 per cent(the other 11 per cent are gun dealer's and those who know) of those going to gun shows are in a very dim-lit room!

When I look at a auction site and see 50 of the same item and the price variance between 425-550+.... since I have done my HOMEWORK I already know a square deal!

On occassion when I have set up at a gun show in hopes of selling a dust collector...on Saturday I have a price which is lower than the same item on a-n-y o-t-h-e-r dealers table by $25-$50. On Sunday I mark it up $25-$50 and it sell's...to the same person who saw it on Saturday...YOU EXLPLAIN THIS TO ME!

    JustC,
I have two conse numbered NIB SuperRedHawks 7.5/44mag and tried for one month to sell them for $450 which included shipping...not one bid! This was more than a fair deal since they are NIB and that was below Jerry's...... I will not put them up for auction any time soon and when I do prices will have gone up another $25+..

Hey,I would have gone new if 100 was the differance, but thats just me. If a gun is 800 new retail and I buy one used on the net add shipping add FFL trans any other tax...USED GUNS SHOULD BE AROUND 60 OR 65% OF RETAIL TOPS but of coarse there are alot of guns that hold value much better than others
