Rings and base for Rem. PSS?

I was wondering if ya'll could give me an idea of the best mounting system to mate my Remington 700PSS .308 with a Bushnell Elite 3200 5-15x50mm AO.I was thinking of going with a Leupold 2 piece weaver base but my bud said the one piece is stronger.Also what size rings would I need for the 50mm objective,extra high?Thanks for any and all responses,Josey

Josey,Why don't you look at a one piece Redfield matte finish base with a set of Redfield high profile matte finish rings. The base will give you the most stability, and the high profile rings are tall enough for even 56mm bells...just a thought

I would say Dave Talley rings and bases are about as good as you can go.
