Marlin 1894S on the block. $320 + $30 shipping
I have seen these rifles bring nearly twice the current bid (20 minutes to go) but we don't get much info about this one.
The description says, "Scratches, nicks and other normal signs of wear - Pictures show any marks" but the photographs are not detailed at all. Neither the photos nor the description tell us if this rifle has the hammerblock safety.
Auctions like this can be great bargains or great disappointments.

I used to recruit for the NRA until they sold us down the river (again!) in Heller v. DC. See my auctions (if any) under username henryreilly

It would make all the difference in those pictures.

That's nothing. Here's my favorite - no seller rating, no description, no pictures with a $5,900 "Buy it now". [:0]

Yeah, but I wouldn't pay more than $5,800 with that little bit of info. [;)]
