    Probably just me, but I think it looks weird. Colts look western to me, Smiths look cop. Somehow I don't feature engraving on cop guns. Nice work though!

    I never understood the allure of an engraved revolver. Kind of reminds me of those cars that have the spoiler "fin", the tinted windows, the chrome wheels with skinny tires and fat exhaust pipe. A bunch of fancy stuff that doesn't serve much purpose. Just my opinion.

    Concealed, the spoiler (properly designed) is an up-side-down wing which presses the rear of the car to the ground at very high speed. From what I see around here, it is most useful on supercars like VW bugs and Ford Escorts.
