Anyone know Jesse E Harpe Co. in Tampa?

This was the destination in 1968 of a S&W revolver I just lettered. A Google search turned up a gunsmith by that name. Anyone familiar with Jesse E. Harpe Co. in Tampa? Was it a gun shop, a sporting goods store, a police supply outlet or what?

Jesse E Harpe Inc. was a Gunsmith and Locksmith and worked on safes. His mark was Harpe with all capitol letters and con-caved between the H and E.
