This cut into my gun money stash.[:D] This old boat looks to be well cared for. It's a 16' Lowe with a 35hp Evinrude. The floors are solid, the seats are nice and everything seems to work. With my luck fishing, I figure I can catch crappie for about $100.00 a pound this summer.[:I]

Nice rig. I went crappie fishing this past Friday for a couple hours. Here in SWPA they won't come full force for about another few weeks, but I still managed a few in around 10' depth.

Nice rig, that is my kind of fishing boat. My dad and I use to go Crappie fishing and load up some nearly as big as a dinner plate, we had a honey hole in a lake off of the St. Johns river. sure miss those days with him.

Fish on and winter fishing for crappie is great and better than spawn fishing.[^] Kansas had to put a limit on crappie since so many were being taken in the winter.

Running just the trolling motor I got hung up on a brush pile once while out fishing alone. Had three or four rods hanging over the side with minnows on them. By the time I got the motor out of the brush all four rods were bouncing.
I caught more crappie in five minutes then I had ever caught any fish.
Then I learned about crappie hanging on brush piles and started to fish that way
