EDHEAD,The Wanamacher shows in April and October are held in an 11 acre building with 3700 tables. You'll see one of everything you ever had or wanted and a lot of stuff you never heard of. There are guns there that will make you go home and throw rocks at yours. If you go , go early and wear comfortable shoes and clothes because it's going to be a long day. Take lots of money your going to need it if you are seriously looking for something. I have seen 20' tables of collectable guns and the cheapest thing on the table might be $2000.00. Then the next table might have 300 old milsurp rifles. There is something for everyone. Its what a gunshow should be.

Sir, it is the best show there is. Besides the guns, there is a lot of sporting paraphernalia, old posters, etc. Art prints, and other collectibles related to guns and hunting. You will see some of the most beuatiful custom guns in existence. The Browning Collectors used to make the spring show their annual meeting and they have a show in themselves. I think Browning made some of the nicest guns ever by a regular factory. The engraving and wood is wonderful. If you go to buy, take a fair amount of cash because you are sure to find plenty to empty your pockets, and most want cash, not checks. You can spend the whole two days wondering about and not see it all. One word of caution, if you see something you want, and you think the price is right, better get it when you see it, because if you can find the table again, chances are it will be gone.
