This rifle sits on wall of local pawn shop.
It's serial # is 2778817.
It has steel butt plate. Looks like real old walnut stocks.
It has a scope mount and scope. It looks like a "KwicKSITE" with 2 screws holding it to rifle.
Also some one has attached a swivel to front tube and has drill small hole in stock for rear sling to attach.
Oh yaeh, lastly it's missing rear site.
Did the old 94's have front sight hoods/covers? This one does.
I 'd guess the metal finish is 50% because it really looks plum colored...not rusty , but PLUM in color!
Any ideas to age and value? Thank you. Greg

I can tell U that all the scope holes and sling holes have TRASHED IT, as far as collector value..

yOU GUYS THINK IT WOULD BE A BAD OR GOOD DEAL FOR $300.00 OUT THE DOOR?
That plum color is very common and that receiver won't hold a reblue. Based on your description, I wouldn't pay more than $250 for it as a hunting rifle. It has no collector value.
