"I could win a Third term"

BARACK OBAMA: Now, let me be honest with you, I do not understand this.

I am in my second term. It has been an extraordinary priviledge for me to serve as the president of the U.S.

I can not imagine a greater honor or a more interesting job. I love my work.

But under our constitution, I can not run again.

I actually think I'm a pretty good president -- I think if I ran I could win. But I can't.

So there is a lot that I'd like to do to keep America moving, but the law is the law.

He does not lack in self-confidence, does he?

Sadly, however, he is probably correct. No one on the Democrat side could challenge him, and it is hard to imagine one of the GOP challengers being able to beat him right now.

Sadly, I think history will show him to be one of the worst things America has done.

...And yes, he would probably get the nomination and win again.

The more I read about him and the more I witness his beliefs, ideas and actions, the more I believe he is an "Anti-Christ".

You can bet the ranch he has the third term rattling around in his head and how to get around the Constitution. Valerie Jarrett and his back door schemers are working out how to go about it right now

The Libs/Progressives are no problem. He knows there is a chance he can pull it off as long the current batch of Rhinos are still in power

    Sums it up perfectly.

What is down right frightening is there are people out there that would vote for him.

Arrogance personified. No doubt there are evil forces in our government scheming to keep their leader in place. I doubt he leaves peacefully, no matter what the cost is.

Notice he didn't say in which direction he would keep the country moving.

Regarding the current President serving as President again, it's not hard to find a way this can be done within the Constitution. The 22nd Amendment prohibits the President from being again "elected" but says nothing about him serving as President again. That is a deliberate distinction.

The 25th Amendment states a Vice President becomes President when a sitting President is unable to serve. It also sets further line of succession.

Were President Obama at some later date elected or to otherwise become Vice President and the sitting President unable to serve, he could serve as President until the next election. Unlikely to happen, most newly elected Presidents don't want to share the stage with a former President. BTW, becoming VP is not the only way it could happen. Were he to become Speaker of the House, President Pro Temp of the Senate, Secretary of State - those are all very high up in presidential succession.

I don't think it would be difficult to make the case that Congress restricted election only, not serving.

I said before that Obama wouldn't want a third term. His personal wealth has gone up 438% since he took office. He's ready to live the life of a celebrity.

He'll do us a solid by running again to keep hillary out. This would've been the better reason why he got the NPP.

Well, fortunately we couldn't afford another term with Zero at the helm so it'd be a self-resolving problem

Well, if he ran, I wouldn't vote for him again, just like I didn't last time. And I say that with complete confidence.
