So it's okay to hunt and eat rabbits and squirrels but it's not okay to eat cats?

Idsman, only if you are oriental. During WWII falconers in Germany had a very difficult time feeding their birds. Sometimes they could get rats, but in bombed out cities often had to resort to wandering dogs and cats to keep their birds alive (and no the birds would not have made it if released). The birds would eat dogs fine, but had to be starving to eat cats. Obligate carnivores do not a banquet make, and no one shoots them for food, except maybe the orientals who also eat sea cucumber and silk worm larvae and tumors and duck feet and... well you get the picture. Best not be my cats though bubba, cause I shoot back, and I keep shooting. His listing is just in really poor taste. Ask Interstatepawn.

I'm questioning if that cat is alive. You know, there are breeds with little or no fur, and I don't see evidence of that animal being 'dressed'. Check the eyes. (maybe my eyes need checked)

I think it is clear that the seller just posted a oriental market photo to go with his cat killer pop gun. The cat in the photo is unlikely to be alive, no muscle tone. Go try to hold your cat that way and see how limp it is. Also check its tongue and the hooks behind.

Even if that cat is alive, the dressed carcasses behing him hint stongly of his ultimate disposition.

Something is a might stinky in Park Ridge, methinks.
quote:This AR-20 is in great cosmetic shape; however, it does not seem to cycle the rounds I put through it correctly. Looks like the extractor or ejector needs relpacing..This rifle did its deed and I no longer want it, plus I need to hide the evidence. Sold as is with no warrantee.
Naturally, subsonic rounds would not cycle the action. See also:

Looks like the same rifle to me.

The following is a JOKE people. I like cats and would never shoot one unless it was to put it out of its misery.

Do you know the great thing about shooting a deaf cat?

I think the seller missed the day in sales class when they taught "building value."

Of course he may be going for the asian market...

I recall reading a battle account of starving soldiers in Stalingrad that were obliged to eat cat, from the many stray pets in the ruined city. I don't recall if it was Russian or German soldiers doing the eating. I'd think it'd be pretty stringy eating. Gamey, too.
