    Hey Mudge, I have been wondering where that name came from. Only other time I have run into it was in a, not very good, sifi pook. The character Mudge was an otter as I remember.

    Clouder's got it right. There was a post a few months back about how most of us got our "handles". Don't remember what the header was. It was pretty interesting.
