At least for now. I am trying to buy another Mauser. Damn I just love these old Mausers. This one says "Deutsche Waffen und Munitionfabrik Berlin" on the receiver rail.
Damn I just love that old German writing, I pay extra for that!

Anyway I bid 9 times and each time the autobid beat me!
I came back tonight and went up to $405 and beat the autobid guy.

But, the night is young and I have a feeling someone will come in and top my big.
I am not going any higher. I mean it. Seriously.
These old Mausers are getting expensive, a few years ago this gun would have gone for 300 bucks.

Just bid the very top amount you are willing to pay, and see if you win. If not there will be two more next week.

Sellers just love buyers with this strategy. [:D] I do my research and enter my best offer in autobid and let it run. That way I can't be tricked into going higher just to "beat the other guy".[:)]

Allen, just save an auction search, run it once or twice a day, find the next, put in your top bid and wait. You may not win the first or second or third, but before too long, either you will win or you will realize they are bringing more than you want to pay. Then you can bid more or look for something else.

Try to get a decent M1 Carbine for that $455.
