I love the Swedish Mausers, I have been collecting them since 1991 and I have 4 of them.

Here is a Swede that is for sale on the auction side. Get a load of what this guy did to the beautiful Swedish Mausers:

"Here is what was originally a Swedish M1894 carbine made by Carl Gustafs Stads Gevarsfaktori in 1918 (original date is barely discernable). It was supposedly given the fake name of "G33/50" by Sam Cummings who founded International Armament Company (Interarmco / Interarms) in 1953. He was a world-wide dealer in military small arms. He was a U.S. Army weapons specialist, recruited in 1950 by the CIA as a weapons expert, and was an original exclusive agent for ArmaLite. Sorry, I digress. The G33/50's were parts guns made from the better remaining parts of some Swedish M94 Mauser carbines. The G33/50's were a creation of Mr. Cummings and never were an official firearm used by Sweden. The date line on the receiver was ground away and "INTERARMCO G33/50" was stamped in its place. "

at that time swedes were selling very cheap,15-25 dollars and it was a marketing tool it get more money out of them and for sure not a swedish marked carbine. for the right price i would buy one, for a shooter or to get parts for a original in bad condition. and then again look at the rifles bannerman modifed as they have risen in price. mr myopic.

Many, many years ago I saw my first Swedish Mauser that had been sporterized by Kimber - nice Ram line stock, nickel plating - all that. Decide to make another lap & come back & buy it. Gone of course!

I have since corrected that & now have 2 of the Kimber conversions - the 1st in 6.5 the second in .308.

I inherited a sporterized Swedish Mauser, a Carl Gustafs Stads Gevarsfaktor 6.5 x 55. My uncle bought it back in 1958 or 59. It's the first rifle I ever shot that wasn't a .22.

It's the one in the front of the photo.

I have long wanted to have a 94 carbine fitted with a scope and accurized. I think it would make a great deer and antelope rifle. They just got too expensive and scarce before I got the chance.
