And old West aficionados, if you liked the movie, I recommend a book called "The Last Gunfight" by Jeff Guinn. I goes into much more detail on the events leading up to the shootout and the aftermath.

    Hey-I just watched it again 2 days ago! Used to set aside a few hours before dinner to read. Tougher now with this thing called the "Internet"[:(!] However I just may pick up a copy. Thanks[;)]

    There are a couple more really good I like. "And Die in the West" by Paula Mitchel Marks. And "Bloody Season", by Loren D. Estleman.
    I will look for Last Gunfight. I love reading about those times and people.

    You can google it and read Wyatt Earps actual courtroom testimony of what all went down weeks & months leading up to the last shot of the shootout, words straight from the horses mouth and not some 3rd or 4th party version.Very interesting [;)]
