H&R Forty Niner model 969

I'm trying to find out more about my fortyniner.
It's a 9 shot .22 revolver
I'd like to find the actual company that made it, but the H&R website that I looked at doesn't sell anything like it. I heard that they sold out to New England. But I have seen nothing to make that statement true. If anyone could help me out, I'd appreciate it...
Thanks

The forty-niner is model 949. It was made by Harrington and Richardson, but that H&R was an earlier incarnation, not the company that owns the name now. Look in the blue book, or standard catalog, or wait until I return to the US and we will talk.
