Where is the best place to get a good deal on a Leupold or Burris Scope ?

Any good websites that discount them ?

I buy most of mine, used, off of E B A Y, you get some very good deals there, also good deals on new ones. Its hard to buy a Leupold scope used for a better price than what you will find on there. Why dont you tell us what you are looking for, lots of people here have scopes for sale sometimes.

I just bought a Vari-X II from bass pros shops because it was on sale to get rid of it. They discontinued the Vari-X II and replaced it with VX-II........i don't see a difference between the two. anyways i bought it for $200 which I thought was a good deal. I agree though with looking on ebay. i always look there first and i am sure you will find what you need there. with leupold having a life time warranty a used one wouldn't be a bad idea if it isn't already beat to *....hope that helped.

You must be competeing with this .22??
Cause if not, I'd try to talk you out of such an expensive and high power scope for just a .22, no offense, but you probably dont want to hear that, so, no I dont know about the compact 3x9s.

I just got my dream .22 and I want a nice, first class scope for it...I know exactly which one I want and I'm just looking for the best deal I can find. Leupold Compact 3 x 9 Matte Finish... Leupold Item Number 38005 I've found several available from Cabelas, Bass Pro Shops, and some other web sites that have scopes available for purchase on-line. The best deal I've come across is at CheaperThanDirt.com they list it at about $270.00 which is a good buy for the scope but they are out of stock at this time. Everyone that has them in stock is listing them at about $340-$350 bucks and I'd rather watch ebay or gunbroker for a decent deal on a clean used one and maybe opt for a Burris Compact if one came along. I had an extra full size 3x9 Leupold that I tried to put on the rifle but it's a bit too large for the gun...I need a compact scope.

I thank you for your previous posts and all your help.

Bear Basin has also given me good service. One time when a computer malfunction ate my order and some others, they sent the scope overnight and paid the shipping. They intend to give good service as well as good prices. They do not carry cheap scope brands however. Good Shooting!
