Topeka Show - Styer SSG 69 Opinions ...

Well the Topeka fleamarket/gunshow was almost a total bust ... rows of knives and other crap ... only redemption was a very clean Styer SSG 69, seller said it came from an estate, no box, manual or factory rings ($200+ item when bought seperately) its LNIB ... only without the box. Seller wants $995 ... good price?I'm going back today, maybe trade, maybe purchase outright. I plan to use the fact (when talking $$$) that Styer no longer has a distrubutor in the US (GSI droped them), so spare parts will be scarce and expensive in the not so distant future.I've read the reviews about the bolt being stiff, being complicated to disassemble and set screws in the bolt coming lose causing the firing pin to break ... but also sub .5 MOA accuracy out of the box is typical.Thoughts? Thanks in advance!kk

Industry "rumor" has it that Steyr is going to set up their own USA branch instead of using an outside distributor.
