We like to think of Michigan as having two seasons, Road Contstruction Season and Winter...

I dont get home to Michigan often. When I do get home it seems nothing is the same as before, everything changes so much in a few years. Guess there is one thing that will never change in Michigan I see, the roads still swallow up your car like a black hole. They gotta have the worst roads of any state I've ever been in, some things never change. Texas has got to be a close second, and for the life of me I dont know why, its not like they have the freezing and thawing conditions we have in MI. I guess its a low tax base?

The roads in NH are, overall, the best I've seen throughout the country, for whatever reason. But part of it is, I'm sure, that we have the same two seasons as Michigan!

I live in Jackson and it seems like all roads leading in or out are under construction making it very hard to get anywhere on time. Not to worry, pothole season will soom be upon us.
