I have a Remington "Model 17" 20 gauge shotgun. I don't know much about this gun, but a few friends have told me that they only made this gun for a year or two before selling the patent to a company named "Ithica", who shortly after stopped making it. I do know this gun is old, and that it's unique (it's a pump, and it loads and ejects shells from the bottom of the action). But what I'd like to know is what this thing is worth (since several people have claimed it's a sought-after antique), and the official history of this gun...Please email me with anything you know about this gun (esp the history and est value), since i haven't found anything about it on the web yet!
