First day back at work

Well today was my first day back at work since 11/22/11. Still have a few weeks of light duty before I am cleared for the streets again, Man I am getting old. My knee hurt all day, but it was more of a soreness thing than a broken/damaged thing. I have always(well mainly) been clean shaven, and all anyone could talk about was my "Porn mustache" that I grew, I will have to cut it off before I hit the streets but its fun to catch people off guard with it. They even gave me a new name "Buck Naked", I was taking a drink of tea when they hit me with that, and spit tea everywhere. All in all, a good day with a lot of laughs at me and with me. No where near as horrible as I thought it would be.

Congratulations on being back, sounds like it went well! I guess I missed why you were away from work; sounds like it probably occurred during my self-prescribed sabbatical last year.

If you can't feel the music; it's only pink noise!

I tore my knee up in a fight, I am a cop here in NC. They had to do surgery, and I was on crutches til just last Wednesday. Thats when I took to the boards, as a form of therapy while sitting on my butt at home not being able to hunt, fish, or even go to the movies. This place has been theraputic for me. So thanks to everyone, even the ones I disagree with half the time. You have made a hard situation better for me.

Do you have the ability to sue the guy that caused your injury? I have often wondered why tax-payers have to foot all the bill for rehab if the perp has money available to pay for his misdeeds.....

I dont know if I can sue or not, I dont imagine there is much to sue, ghetto kids dont really have alot of legitimate money. I am checking with an attorney, but I am not real hopeful of any resolution. Thanks for asking tho, I will help me follow up.
