My wife and daughter are planning a trip to the city for a week-end of seeing the sights and taking in
a couple of shows...

My question is: Where would be the Safest and most reasonable place to stay? If you know the price
of a hotel or motel rooms, I would appreciate it..

None of us have ever been to the City...Any help would be greatly appreciated.....Thank you for
your response and help..

I can't recomend a place to stay. When I go down I stay at my fiance' Bev's place. If you do find yourself going on that trip, I do strongly recomend a trip to the Holland & Holland store. The guys that sell the clothing on the 1st floor are kind of snobby, but when you get to the 5th floor, You'll feel right at home. Really nice guys up there in the gun room. Some really pretty guns too. It's only a couple blocks from central park have them go get you some catalogs as a souveneer. I'm going down pretty soon just to grab some new catalogs and visit my hatter. I'm bald and can't stand to wear a baseball cap. If you want a good felt fedora now days you got to hit a big city.
