where to post "for trade"

Is there an appropriate forum on the internet to post a "for trade" item? I have a firearm of greater value that I would like to trade for one of lesser value because the one of lesser value suits my needs more and I've been wanting one ever since I heard about it. Has anyone else ever experienced something like this?

Sorry I don't know the answer to your question, but I will second it, as I have wondered the same thing myself.

One time I bought a rifle on GB that was worth near twice as much as I paid for it. Some gunsmith was trying to unload it at the cost of materials from which he built it. I bought it with the specific intent of trading it for a more expensive rifle that I truly wanted which I did. Now I can't unload this great deal I have to offer in trade for a Camo Bushmaster that I've dreamed of owning since I saw it advertised on their website. What I have fires the same ammo and takes the same magazines but it's worth at least $300 more.

I think The Shotgun News has a trading section, but I'm not sure.

There is a "Buy/Sell/Trade" section on my board at the bottom in Barter Town, feel free to post it there if you like. That offer goes for anyone, all are welcome.

There is a firearms trading post that isn't too bad. The search engine on it isn't all that great, but it's a decent site. Here's the link: http://www.firearmstp.com/default.asp

id 75, trot on over to the firearms forum, if you can stand to be with some of my "brother" miscreants. They got a buy, sell, trade all on 1 site
