Great deal from SOG

I just received 10 T38 Bayonets from SOG @3.50 ea. They were advertised as without scabbards but mine did have scabbards. They were in pretty good condition and two had arabic writing and dates. Can anyone give me the formula for converting the arab dates to our system. They were dated (in arabic) 1322 & 1306. I lived in Turkey for 3 years but have forgotten how to convert.

I also received two of the T38 rifles for 27.95ea. The upper handgards had small cracks but the overall condition was as good as some I have paid more for.

All in all, I think the bayonets were a real steal. Tom

Nope jastr, I posted here since I consider the Experts to be more or less for gun related problems. I was just passing on SOG experence and looking for off the wall info on converting the Islamic date to our system.

I believe they start their calendar when Mohammed fled Mecca and we start with Christ. Their dates are around 600 years less than ours IE their 1300 would be our 1900. I have searched the net but apparently I am not asking the right question to get the correct link. Thanks, Tom
