Take a look at the front page of today's issue the New York Post at
www.nypost.com - I'd expect something like this when reading about the nazis but not in NYC and not in this country.

Doesn't surprise me. I've always said that the flu-shot is some kind of secret experiment.

Why the outcry? Its been done for years on seniors, mentally challenged kids and adults...
    This is nothing new..
Many have been injected just to see what drug would stop the disease. Who cares if its not stopped, its only a person...big deal. Who cares how many it is passed onto?...its only people.
And its not just HIV...its been anything from the flu right thru to polio.
Again, its been done for years.

BR - I don't know whether your post is sardonic or actually states your feelings. I sincerely hope that the latter is not the case.

My point was why the outcry?..
No one said a damn thing when it was done on adults and other kids...no one says a thing when its done on seniors..
It will be "swept under the mat" as it always is...

My feelings on it?...I wish something could be done to stop it...but it hasnt been stopped in over 50 years...and its not for lack of trying...it is always "washed away" or should I say buried...

Wasnt there a movie, where the Govt. wanted to see the results of syphilis on blacks from the time of infection till death.

I cant remember the name but it was based on actual facts.

Wake up America. There is NO CURE FOR HIV. If we can't cure the flu, or the plague, or a cold after all these years, we won't find a cure for AIDS.

There is an easy fix to viruses - containment. It worked in Europe after the the plague was tied to rats. What do we need to do. 1. Men- stop having sex with men you don't know. 2. Women - don't have sex with men with a questionable social history. 3. Stop using IV drugs. 4. Get tested, get your significant other tested, stop sleeping around. Do these and HIV will vanish.

Here is my beef with HIV. In 2000, 14K ppl died or AIDS, 553K died of cancer, 69K died of diabetes, 37K died of nephritis. AIDS is not as big as the gay community wants to make it seem.

Further 0.2% of Americans have AIDS. 0.003% of heterosexuals have AIDS. Ya, if you a male, don't have sex with men and don't use IV drugs, you will not have AIDS. It is almost exclusively a gay male and junkie disease.

HIV/AIDS is the seventeenth leading cause of death in America. 5 times more ppl die of diarrhea, pneumonia, or flu than of AIDS/HIV. 40 times more ppl die of cancer. 50 times more ppl die of heart disease.

Despite all these facts, the government spends more money on AIDS reasearch than ALL OTHER CAUSES OF DEATH COMBINED.

Makes me sick how we cater to the AIDS and gay community.

BR - Thanks for the clarification. When any helpless human being is used as a subject for experimentation - it should be considered criminal - whether they are children, the elderly or mentally ill.
We have PETA screaming about cruelty to animals but who defends these helpless people?
Sometimes I can't stand the inhumanity of man - I've seen too much violence and death in my life and now that I'm older I cannot ignore it and I see it for what it is - a despicable human trait.
Sorry for venting but that newspaper article set me off.

    Yes,Indeed;

The Tuskegee Experiments.Studying black men as they died from syphilis..good grey Fedgov Doctors..for forty years, delibeartely witholding life-saving drugs....

In the fifties, exposing pregnant women to radiation...

Releasing flu viruses off the coast of Californa..the list is endless. The only reason these Experiments are from the past...is because they still keep secret what they are doing to us today...

Any possibility there are enough people in this country upset enough to change things...? Nahhhhhhh..who gives a sh***..we still got Rosie O'Donald and our nice fast cars...
