Hornaday "New Deminsion Dies" Help

I just got my Hornady 480 ruger dies and set down on this rainy sunday to fill some brass. It is my first attempt on a pistol round. The instructions are sad. (I'm used to Lee dies) Do you have to resize new brass? Must I crimp these? (I put one together and It seems very tight using just the seating die) Please help as I would hate to blow up a nice gun or myself. I'm using Hodgdon H110 Thanks a million.

Dave; Have not reloaded for the .480...but some general info. That is a thumper for recoil..even if they claim not.Generally best to throw a crimp on such rounds. Also, best to resize new cases..you just never know.Start with cases you KNOW are all the same.
