new gun laws and rules for 2003

#1- New regulations for NRA matches will require that the bullseye will be 50% bigger for all those of us with failing eyesight.

#2- Funds will be made available for Glock to supply pistols to LEO's in this country at a reduced rate, and also for R&D to see if they make them as reliable, but not so ugly.

#3- Ban all Jennings, Davis, Lorcin, etc. We will accept trades from Iraqi citizens though. Give us your AK, and we'll give you this brand new Jennings.

#4- If we have to pay $500 or more for a new gun and it has a cheap stock( the walnut stain doesn't fool us), at least throw in a tee shirt or baseball cap to make us feel better.

#5- If you vote against concealed carry, and for new gun restrictions, you have to display a sign on your home, "This house is gun free." You will also get a button to wear on your person.
#5a- "what is good for the goose, is good for the gander" If we can't have guns, neither can you. Being a celebrity, or a "public figure" doesn't make your life or valuables any more precious than the blue collar guy who made you famous. This applies to your bodyguard too. You can call 911 and wait for the police just like us.

#6- Speaking of the police. We will now put our priorities in order. Professional atheletes will now have their salaries capped at whatever a state or city is willing to pay its police. Salaries can go up as soon as the atheletes show the willingness to lay their lives on the line on a daily basis.

I'll be looking forward to your support on these common sense gun laws. Thank you.(It's time for that first cup of coffee)

Hard work pays off in the future. Laziness pays off now.

I especially agree with #5 and #5a. It's one thing to have convictions, but another thing entirely to put your money (or your safety) where your mouth is.

I think 5, 5a, and 6 sum it up well... Thanks!!!

All it takes for evil to prevail is that good men do nothing.

For the first time a civilized nation has full gun registration; the streets are safer, the police are more effective, and the rest of the world will follow us into history--Hitler 1937

#3..Ban all cheap pistols, hmmmm? So only rich people should be able to defend themselves..and cops, because of the(#2) law to sell them cheap, public funded Glocks ? I am a mechanic..Mind funding my 20,000 dollars worth of tools ?

#4..You don't HAVE to pay 500 bucks for pine stocks..walk away from it !! The reason those guns sell//is because your fellow citizen buys them.

    God,Guts,& GunsHave we lost all 3 ??
