I've been playing with some loads for my 308 norma mag and have hit paydirt.... I had a 5 shot group less than 3/4" at 100 yards... I can't believe it, given I'm a shotgunner... I'm loading 70 grains of 4350 with a 180 gr hornady sp. Wouldn't want to be a buck this year!!!!!!

308 Norma...one of the old original 'short mags'...I have owned one for 35 years...an old Parker Hale. Shoots like a house afire.
