Remington 16ga. 870 re-introduction :)

Just read in the new issue of Guns & Ammo that Remington will be selling 16 ga. 870's with 26" or 28" screw in choke barrels! How's that grab you traditionalists??

    Grabs me purdy good...I`ve got an 870 Wingmaster in 16-Improved Cyl,that I am crazy about..as wel as a 37-Ithica in Mod.,and a M-12-win. in Full choke.16s are cool,man!!.218

    Actually it was in The American Rifleman. Growing up in midwest farm country it seemed like every farmer I knew had a 16 in the barnThey were always lightly rusted and fully loaded! That was in the 50's and 60's - most of the barns are gone around here.When I handle a 16 I always think of farmers.
