Just got back from fishing a while ago. Anybody fish this type of fish or is it just an upper midwest type of fish? Took the future misses fishing for bullheads as she has never even seen what one looked like. Of course I had to all the hook baiting, as usual Didn't do too bad for a slow evening. 4 total and she got the biggest one. Just plain lucky I say. And guess who had to do all the gutting and cleaning? Half the time I think she was more worried about a bear coming out of the woods than how the cleaning was going. Oh well, I wouldn't trade her for anything in the world!

Just noticed the post on catfish. Sounds like they put a little more of a fight than my 2 or 3 pounders do!

green lantern, my uncle kept bullheads in the horse tank so us kids would have something to do besides burn down the barn. They'd eat the grain that fell out of the mouths of the cattle and horses.Worked pretty well. When it got colder he'd feed the little ones to the cats. And fry up the bigger ones. Lots of kids hooked there first fish in that tank!!
